A quiet, acoustically-treated space.
Acoustic treatment is often neglected in home studios, when it is actually the most important factor to achieve a professional recording.
We use thick, handmade bass traps and broadband absorbers panels (instead of foam), which helps to dramatically reduce room reverb and achieve a balanced sounding room.
You don’t have to understand the technical terms to know what’s going on - your ears will hear the difference immediately.
Music in, noise out.
The studio is equipped with soundproof windows, so you can perform at ease and be assured that your perfect take will be captured without interruption.

This was actually a spontaneous session, as the best ones tend to be.
It shows the recording quality we can achieve with a treated space, and Grace and Audrina are also fantastic musicians.
I was really happy at how this turned out - especially the clarity of the guitar and violin, and how well we blended together.
This was done in a single take with all of us playing together at the same time.
